Mothers

The calling on mothers is vast; we are guides and confidants to our children through our continual journey of growth and sanctification. Our calling is to lead our children on the path of goodness so they may come to know, enjoy, and cultivate a relationship with God. Ms. Mason said,"Mothers work wonders once they are convinced that wonders are demanded of them." May we trust in the Lord as we labor and trust in Him. Laboring in efforts with the Holy Spirit, the Supreme Educator and our ever present help. May we also celebrate the many ways we can gather together to spur one another on and grow in not only our mothering and schooling, but in our own self-education.

Monthly Book Club
There is a book club that meets the first Wednesday of the month. To learn more about what we are reading view our schedule.
If you are interested in joining please send an email here to join our mailing list.

We will also have seasonal mother culture events.

Lunch Chats
The third Wednesday of the month Ordo Amoris members gather during lunch to discuss and explore Ms. Mason's works through excerpts from her volumes and various PNEU articles. Taking what we read and discussing how we can implement this philosophy within our home and in our own lives.

Olea
Olea is a unique botanical name that refers to both the olive and the olive oil. As the fruit of the olive tree is pressed to release the valuable oil which fuels the lamp, adds flavor to a dish, retains healing properties, and rejuvenates dry scorched materials, so our experiences and life stories will be pressed out; fueling lamps to burn the brighter, flavoring each other’s lives with shared stories, helping heal through God’s grace, and rejuvenating each other’s lives when we may feel dried up and scorched. This is how Mother Culture is at its best. These are events specifically for members of Ordo Amoris.
